Senior DevOps Engineer
About The Position
This role is part of a large-scale digital transformation program delivered by Xenon7, in partnership with one of Egypt’s leading banks. Xenon7 works closely with top-tier banks and enterprises to modernize technology platforms, enhance system reliability, and elevate digital capabilities. The selected candidate will join a mission-critical banking environment, operating at enterprise scale and within regulated frameworks. We are seeking a Senior or Lead DevOps Engineer to support and evolve the bank’s DevOps and platform capabilities. The role requires strong hands-on expertise, ownership mindset, and prior experience working in banking or fintech environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps
- Previous experience in banking or fintech environments (mandatory)
- Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Practical experience with GitOps and ArgoCD
- Solid understanding of monitoring, observability, and logging in production systems
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in enterprise environments
