Aretum is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will manage a DevOps team that is implementing and executing processes to create and fully maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application deployments in an AWS environment. Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience managing a DevOps team implementing a cloud-based solution
  • 4+ years of experience managing a DevOps team that supports 5 or more engineering teams
  • 4+ years of experience with Git/Gitlab, Terraform (or similar IaC tool) and AWS
  • Experience implementing and executing processes to create and fully maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
  • Experience managing version control systems
  • Experience in configuring, building, deploying, and managing containers
  • Systems engineering skills in configuring and managing Linux Systems
  • Possess developer skills in programming languages, web frameworks, and databases
  • Comfortable and experienced in Agile approaches
  • Must possess experience working in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • This position supports a federal government contract and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination, depending on the agency’s background investigation requirements.
