Aretum is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will manage a DevOps team that is implementing and executing processes to create and fully maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application deployments in an AWS environment. Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
4+ years of experience managing a DevOps team implementing a cloud-based solution
4+ years of experience managing a DevOps team that supports 5 or more engineering teams
4+ years of experience with Git/Gitlab, Terraform (or similar IaC tool) and AWS
Experience implementing and executing processes to create and fully maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
Experience managing version control systems
Experience in configuring, building, deploying, and managing containers
Systems engineering skills in configuring and managing Linux Systems
Possess developer skills in programming languages, web frameworks, and databases
Comfortable and experienced in Agile approaches
Must possess experience working in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
This position supports a federal government contract and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination, depending on the agency’s background investigation requirements.
