As a Senior DevOps Engineer , you will assist on larger projects or run smaller opportunities independently. You will design and build the next generation of our application as well as design incremental upgrades to our existing products. A successful candidate has technical depth and hands-on experience of various practices and tools within DevOps and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to design and code modules for infrastructure, application, and processes. Requirements

  • 5+ years as an individual contributor
  • Knowledge of one cloud platform like AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP
  • Good hands-on knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools like – Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc.
  • Good experience with Docker and container orchestration tools
  • Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions, or similar tools)
  • Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
  • Practical experience administering Linux systems
  • Practical SQL skills and admin experience with Databases, such as PostgreSQL
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple and cross functional teams
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a scalable and secured infrastructure to meet our customers’ needs
  • Manage the monitoring systems of our applications/services
  • Provide infrastructure needed to maintain multiple integration environments, ensuring each environment is consistently set up, configured, and available
  • Trace complex build problems, release issues, and environmental issues
  • Work with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Provide hands-on operational support to engineering teams, ensuring they have the environments, tools, and infrastructure needed to move quickly
