At a moment of momentum and meaning, Christian Theological Seminary invites an experienced fundraising professional to help shape the future of theological education. As we advance a pivotal comprehensive campaign, the Senior Development Officer will play a central role in cultivating generosity that expands access, strengthens leadership, and advances the public good. This is an opportunity for a seasoned major gifts fundraiser who believes philanthropy is not merely transactional-but transformational. Rooted in equity, access, and justice, CTS is a place where faith, intellect, and impact converge. The Senior Development Officer will join a mission-driven advancement team and serve as a key frontline fundraiser, engaging donors whose values align with the Seminary's enduring commitment to education, community, and ethical leadership. Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, the Senior Development Officer manages a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects and independently solicits and closes five- and six-figure gifts in support of CTS's academic, programmatic, and institutional priorities. The successful candidate will combine disciplined fundraising practice with a relational, values-centered approach to donor engagement.
