About The Position
The Senior Gift Processor plays a crucial role in supporting the MEE Development team by ensuring the accurate processing of gifts and pledges. This position is responsible for collecting, inputting, and processing various types of donations into the Blackbaud CRM donor database, while adhering to the Mass General Brigham Gift Acceptance policies and IRS guidelines. The Senior Gift Processor must maintain the highest level of accuracy in managing donor and biographical information, which is essential for effective fundraising operations. In addition to processing gifts, the Senior Gift Processor prepares acknowledgment letters, tax receipts, and tribute notifications, ensuring that these are completed within the standard 24-48 hour timeframe. This role also involves confirming and processing matching gifts, which requires communication with matching gift companies to resolve any issues that may arise. The Senior Gift Processor is expected to provide exemplary customer service, addressing gift-related inquiries and issues from donors and staff alike. The position requires collaboration with the Manager of Gift Recording and other Development office staff to enhance the efficiency of gift processing operations. The Senior Gift Processor will also participate in maintaining data integrity within the constituent database, making necessary edits, resolving duplicate records, and identifying areas for data cleanup. This role is dynamic, requiring flexibility to adapt to changing transaction volumes and office needs, while also supporting other activities of the development staff as needed.
