About The Position

Design software solutions to meet business needs. Support, maintain, and develop customer facing applications. Mentor junior team members. Investigate and troubleshoot problems in production environments. Contribute to program level architecture design. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development team. Develop an understanding of business logistics and risk management domain. Maintain an awareness of evolving technologies used by other teams and in the technology industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field of study and 8 years of progressive experience in Software Development.
  • 5 years of experience performing analysis and design using object-oriented techniques.
  • 5 years of experience programming with Java in a professional setting.
  • 5 years of experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORMs in enterprise applications.
  • 3 years of experience in Logistics industry.
  • 3 years of experience in technical leadership.
  • Agile software development methodologies.
  • Implementing Client-facing applications with responsive design and development.
  • Implementing REST services security using JWT, Oauth or other security technologies.
  • Implementing REST services supporting client-facing applications.
  • Implementing SPAs with a TypeScript framework or a JavaScript library.
