About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced developer and emerging technical leader who can build practical, reliable solutions, make sound architectural decisions, mentor others, and eventually grow into our next principal engineer. As a Senior Developer / Technical Lead, you’ll play a key role in developing a multi-platform medical diary app that helps patients manage real-world health challenges. You’ll design and ship features across web and mobile, guide architecture decisions, and establish engineering best practices that keep us agile and compliant. You’ll mentor teammates, set the technical tone for the team, and gradually transition into full technical leadership.

Requirements

• Deep software engineering fundamentals
• Proven ability to deliver production software in a small-team environment
• Pragmatic decision-making
• Initiative in improving codebases, documentation, and user experience

Nice To Haves

• Mobile app experience
• Flutter / Dart experience
• Working with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001
• Experience with clinical trials (FDA 21 CFR rule 11)
• Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and ship high-quality code across web and mobile platforms
• Define and evolve the technical architecture of the application
• Lead code reviews and establish coding standards
• Prioritize end-user privacy and system security
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Collaborate with product and design to translate user needs into simple, effective solutions
• Participate in long-term planning for scalability, maintainability, and security
• Eventually step into the Principal Engineer role
