Senior Developer Relations Engineer (US)

CrossmintMadison, MS

About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Developer Relations Engineer who will bridge the gap between Crossmint's engineering team and the global developer community. You will combine strong technical expertise with hands-on building — shipping demo applications, writing production-grade code, QA-ing developer journeys and product integrations, improving documentation, and creating internal tools and automations that raise the bar for how we support developers at scale. This is not a purely outward-facing role. A significant part of your work will happen in the codebase: building and maintaining reference apps and starter kits, stress-testing integration flows from a developer's perspective, identifying friction before it reaches the community, and making sure our APIs, SDKs, and onboarding experiences are as polished as the products they represent. You will also engage externally — through content, community, workshops, and direct developer support — but the foundation of your impact will be deep technical ownership of the developer experience end to end. You will play a highly cross-functional role driving adoption, influencing product direction through community insights, and ensuring developers have a world-class experience building with Crossmint.

Requirements

  • Experience building and shipping production-grade applications.
  • Demonstrated success driving developer adoption or supporting technical communities.
  • Strong hands-on experience with modern programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of APIs, SDKs, authentication, webhooks, and developer tooling.
  • Comfortable building full-stack demo applications and integrating third-party services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Confident public speaker comfortable presenting at events and leading workshops.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and highly collaborative across engineering, product, and marketing teams.
