Edwards Lifesciences is looking for a Senior Developer to design, develop, and implement generative AI solutions to solve complex problems and improve business operations. The Senior Developer will be responsible for executing artificial intelligence (AI) software development, while ensuring that internal IT software products are delivered consistently.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in related field with 5 years of previous related experience in IT.

Responsibilities

• Engineering generative AI software code, ETL code, or web applications solutions by using application development tools.
• Leading efforts to determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Documenting and demonstrating solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code on complex issues.
• Determining and leading the design of AI system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improving operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes and formulating alternative solutions in policies and procedures.
• Leading AI project development teams through execution of best practices in software development, mentoring other team members, and ensuring that project deliverables are consistent with architecture, quality, security policies.
• Keeping abreast of technical innovation by studying state-of-the-art generative AI tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
