About The Position

Floor & Décor seeks a Senior Developer II for its Atlanta, GA office. The Senior Developer II is responsible for the full software development lifecycle for projects, enhancements and fixes including design, development and until testing. Additional responsibilities and duties include: Develop, maintain and enhance Replenishment, Inventory, Order Management and Transportation systems; Responsible for working on large sized programming tasks with limited supervision; Responsible for the full software development lifecycle of a project including design, development, unit testing, system testing and change management; Integrate new products and solutions into existing environment for continuous improvement; Develop advanced SQL statements and procedural code on multiple database management systems (SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle); tasks include querying data, manipulating data, generating reports, etc.; Manage software deployments, CI/CD pipelines, release cycle and troubleshoot production issues; Work with end users to define business requirements for new projects as well as supporting existing processes; Exercise leadership skills to navigate project execution through all phases of the standard software development lifecycle; Work on multiple "open" medium to large size projects concurrently while in various stages of development, testing and approval processes Provide technical and design guidance to other developers Help assist with task prioritization and deadlines for other developers Work with Product team to understand functional requirements Translate functional requirements to technical solutions for more complex solutions Provide Level 2 Production Support assistance Work closely with business partners to understand needs and present solutions Assisting in creation of technical documentation including technical standards, guidelines, and revising architecture diagrams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, or closely related field and 7 years of full lifecycle software development experience in offered or similar position in the retail industry involving supply chain, retail inventory and store applications.
  • May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.
