Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking a Senior Developer - Full Stack.

  • Support existing Java and .NET applications while transitioning to modern, cloud-native solutions
  • Refactor legacy systems into maintainable architectures using Node.js, Angular, and TypeScript
  • Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications
  • Perform -application archeology- to understand legacy codebases and recommend modernization strategies
  • Build RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external services
  • Work with Postgres, Snowflake, and ORM tools such as Sequelize or Hibernate
  • Assist in migrating data from Oracle and SQL Server to standardized platforms
  • Optimize applications for scalability and implement best practices for security
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers in modern frameworks and practices
  • Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and maintain documentation of architectural decisions
  • Experience with Java and/or .NET for legacy system maintenance
  • Hands-on with Git, agile tools, and version control
  • Knowledge of design patterns, component-based architecture, async programming
  • Knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, ECS, RDS)
  • Understanding of application security and cloud-native development
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Familiar with Postgres, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server
  • Familiarity with project management tools
  • Proficient in Node.js/Express.js for back-end and API-driven systems
  • Strong in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Skilled with Angular
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Excellent communication and collaboration
  • Adaptable to evolving technologies and priorities
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests
  • Able to work independently and in teams
