About The Position

We're seeking a highly skilled and security-minded Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our mission-driven team. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in secure software development, infrastructure automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. You’ll be instrumental in embedding security into every phase of our development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in DevOps, Security Engineering, or related disciplines
• Active Secret Clearance (required)
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, OWASP, CIS Benchmarks)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Certified Security
• Experience with zero-trust architectures and secure software supply chain practices
• Familiarity with compliance requirements (FedRAMP, DoD RMF, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
• Integrate security tools and practices into DevOps workflows (e.g., SAST, DAST, container scanning)
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure compliance and resilience
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in cloud-native environments
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevSecOps best practices across the organization
