About The Position

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will utilize industry standard DevOps tools, automation, CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Spinnaker, ArgoCD, GitOps driven deployments, Artifacts management including Jfrog, and integration with security tools. You will perform deployment strategies such as blue/green and Canary, create application deployment pipelines utilizing Helm, Kubernetes, or ECS Fargate, and decompose business requirements into technical goals using best practices. Additionally, you will troubleshoot container issues, inspect any connectivity and performance improvement measures utilizing RestAPI, Groovy, Python, Json and Yaml to parse large data. You will work with automation tools including Ansible, Kubernetes, Chef, and Puppet, perform cloud engineering, and integrate security best practices with automated and codified architectural patterns in the Cloud. The role allows for telecommuting up to 2 days per week, and when not telecommuting, you must report to Western Union, LLC, 7001 E Belleview Ave., Denver, CO 80237.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems Engineering and Management, or a related field.
  • 4 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or in a related IT role.
  • 4 years of professional experience performing Information Security.
  • 4 years of professional experience granting role-based access within applications and enforcing a least privilege model.
  • 4 years of professional experience securing, implementing, managing, and maintaining solutions with cloud provider environments (AWS, GCP, OCI, or Azure).
  • 4 years of professional experience performing secure coding, scripting, and automation.
  • 4 years of professional experience utilizing IT Audit lifecycle and frameworks.
  • 4 years of professional experience with multiple operating systems (Linux and Windows) and AWS hardening techniques.
  • 4 years of professional experience implementing change control practices and building solutions in lab and development environments.
  • 4 years of professional experience utilizing cloud computing concepts.
  • 2 years of professional experience utilizing cybersecurity techniques and principles.

Responsibilities
