About The Position

Carenet Healthcare Services, located in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer. The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and improve systems architecture to achieve a multi-origin, zero downtime, highly scalable system for the internal systems of a healthcare organization. The work will involve both Windows and Linux/Unix environments.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science
• 24 months experience

Responsibilities

• Establish operational processes for a fast-growing distributed cloud platform using AWS and Azure in an agile development process.
• Generate KPIs for service availability and uptime.
• Orchestrate deployment management and continuous integration using Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.
• Use Cloud Systems architecture including caching layers, content delivery networks, and high availability practices.
• Monitor, analyze and report performance statistics for cloud-hosted environments including Nagios and New Relic.
• Telecommute from anywhere in the USA.
