Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing DevOps practices in complex environments.
  • Experience with scalable, secure, and reliable application deployments.
  • Proficiency in working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, TeamCity, Harness, and GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as DataDog, DynaTrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
  • Understanding of security best practices and experience integrating security into DevOps processes.
  • Proficiency in establishing observability practices and developing DevOps dashboards to monitor and improve system performance and reliability.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

  • Extensive experience with AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and implementation of automated pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Drive the development and implementation of DevOps practices and strategies, aligning with the company's architectural vision and strategic goals.
  • Work collaboratively across multiple teams to manage code releases and deployments.
  • Enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the development and deployment processes by leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Cloud, AI, and APIs.
  • Develop and implement DevOps strategies that align with organizational goals, focusing on automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and operational excellence.
  • Establish DevOps principles, standards, and guidelines across development teams, emphasizing best practices in code build, deployment, automated testing, configuration management, and observability.
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient code integration and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, Harness, and GitHub Actions.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and other repetitive tasks.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of applications using tools like DataDog and DynaTrace.
  • Integrate security best practices into the DevOps processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Develop and maintain observability practices and DevOps dashboards to track key metrics such as MTTR (Mean Time to Recovery) and change failure rates.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, staying informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices in DevOps.
