We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to assist with the maintenance, development, and implementation of one of our Intranet systems. The candidate must have a solid development background across multiple technical disciplines including J2EE web application development, Java client/server development, and Database Development.

  • 9+ years in DevOps, web based related system development including Java experience in developing or maintaining intranet systems.
  • Experienced Java Developer with knowledge in the following areas: Full J2EE stack, RIA framework, Spring, iBatis/Hibernate/JPA, Java, JDBC, JSP/Servlet, Web Services, JMS, etc.
  • Experience with application servers: WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, or Sun One J2EEWAS.
  • Experience with HTML/DHTML, jQuery/JSON, Java Script, AJAX.
  • Experience with Database modeling with RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, Maria DB, Etc.).
  • Experience with RDBMS store procedure & function development.
  • Experience with multiple Server Operating Systems: UNIX, Linux, Windows server platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related discipline with an information technology focus.
  • Bilingual (Korean and English) required.
  • API development experiences are a plus.
  • ETL development experience with ETL Tools (Alteryx, Oracle Data Integrator, MS SQL SSIS, etc.) preferred.
  • BI reporting tool (Tableau, MS Power BI, etc.) development experiences are preferred.
  • Working with Samsung Global Systems such as Next ERP/GSCM preferred.
  • Full lifecycle of ETL implementation understanding preferred (analysis, architecture, design, development, data extraction, staging and storage, transformation, presentation, testing, cutover/go-live planning).
