The position involves configuring, testing, and deploying laptop and workstation hardware and software to users both locally and remotely. The role requires overseeing laptop/desktop imaging, diagnosing and resolving problems related to PC operations on the network, and troubleshooting and repairing break/fix issues. Additionally, the candidate will configure, troubleshoot, and support video conferencing systems used for corporate broadcasts. The role includes performing data center-related activities, such as physical connectivity and cabling, and coordinating with infrastructure teams regarding compute, storage, backup, and networking activities. Travel to the data center in Pittsburgh is required as needed. The candidate will provide solutions to user issues, train users in basic problem resolution, respond to user requests in a timely manner, and adhere to corporate technology and security policies.
