About The Position

Motion is revamping its Desktop app to provide native-level experiences. As Motion evolves into a true suite, customers expect world-class Desktop experience. Example projects include: dramatically improving the memory profile of our app, supporting a way better dynamic toolbar, real-time, on-device voice transcription capabilities, native-level MacOS widgets, and much more. Two thirds of Motion users prefer using the desktop app over web and mobile. This is the most important client, and performance and architecture are crucial. If you're someone who has a passion for performance, Electron, and hybrid native experiences, this is the role for you.

Requirements

• Ambitious and always looking for ways to improve.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and lead them to completion.
• Fast learner who can quickly familiarize with a complex product and code base.
• Strong understanding of how to create the most impact.
• Effective collaboration with other engineers.

Benefits

• Base Salary: $270,000 - $375,000
• Bonus: $0 - $150,000
• Total Compensation: $504,000 - $965,000 (includes equity & bonus)
• Visa Sponsorship available for qualified candidates.
