About The Position
Self- sufficient at designing new CAD products and making improvements to existing CAD products or parts. Evaluate CAD products or parts for cost efficiency, reliability, tooling, and manufacturability. Applies advanced engineering concepts to design the necessary requirements to produce a particular part or parts, specifications, and quality standards. Works closely with engineering staff to ensure that products are completed in a timely manner, using CAD Software such as CATIA, UG, etc.
Requirements
- Extremely proficient in solid modeling utilizing CAD software such as CATIA or UGNX.
- Has strong abilities in Surface Development.
- Experience in the Design, development and engineering of Interior commodities such as: IP Door Floor Console Hardtrim Overhead
- Proficient with plastic injection mold tooling including draft, lifters, shut off, and slide requirements.
- BS/BA Required or Extensive experience in the field.
- Requires 5-10 years CAD Design & Development Experience.
- Able to work well in a team environment as well as being self-sufficient.
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Punctual and very dependable
