About The Position

Hook is a Creative Production Agency. With a collaborative, maker-centric team, and an emphasis on production-led design, we develop creative campaigns, short-form content, and websites for well known brands. Our mission is to integrate creative and production to help grow brands faster. But we believe what’s most important are the people who work with us and the experience they have along the way. We want clients to think of us as the best agency they’ve ever worked with, and we want everyone at Hook to feel like this is the best job they’ve had yet. We’re looking for a Senior Designer with a focus on production design who is a true Figma expert and a master of scale. This person acts as the essential bridge between creative concepts and high-volume execution, scaling artwork across various platforms with technical precision. You should have a deep understanding of design fundamentals and the ability to navigate strict brand guidelines and complex technical specs to deliver a variety of flawless design solutions. You are pro-active, can scope your own work, manage high-volume turnarounds independently, and build out the systems that allow our design team to move faster and more efficiently. This is a fully remote role, but please be aware that this client is based on the East Coast.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of experience in an agency, production-focused, or brand environment with high-volume campaign execution.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling creative across multiple platforms while maintaining strong design fundamentals and attention to detail.
  • Experience building, maintaining, or optimizing design systems and Figma component libraries to support efficient production workflows.
  • Comfortable navigating strict brand guidelines, technical specs, and evolving platform requirements.
  • Generate and maintain enthusiasm for ideas within the agency as they move from concept to execution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Photoshop; familiarity with emerging AI design tools is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • While prior experience working directly with entertainment (or sports) brands is not a mandatory requirement, it is certainly considered a valuable asset and a significant advantage for potential candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop brand campaigns through high-volume production, scaling artwork across platforms while maintaining creative integrity.
  • Execute with a solid grasp of design fundamentals—specifically grid systems, layout, and typographic hierarchy.
  • Build, evolve, and manage complex Figma template systems and scalable component libraries, using auto layout, variants, variables, and shared libraries to support efficient, high-volume production across shifting technical specs and safe zones.
  • Optimize production workflows within Figma to increase speed, accuracy, and cross-team efficiency, identifying opportunities to streamline systems and reduce manual work.
  • Independently scope, prioritize, and manage workload—anticipating technical challenges and adjusting quickly within fast-paced sprints.
  • Maintain a high standard for design quality, even during fast-paced sprints and quick turnarounds.
  • Partnering with team and discipline leads to streamline processes and create an efficient working environment.
  • Communicate design solutions and ideas effectively to both clients and creatives to provide clear direction.
