About The Position

Work Arrangement This role is categorized as remote or hybrid to Warren, MI or Sunnyvale, CA or Mountain View, CA. Remote candidates will be considered. If you live within 50 miles of a GM hub location (San Francisco Bay Area, CA or Warren, MI), you are expected to report to the office three times per week, or other frequency dictated by the business. If you live outside a 50 mile radius of these locations, please still apply. This role requires 5+ years of product design experience on mobile, with clear examples of shipping real products at scale and full ownership and accountability for positive outcomes Exceptional design craft and execution, demonstrated through consistently high-quality interaction and visual work, with deep fluency in Figma Clear evidence of original, critical thinking in interaction and product design, shown through owned decisions that meaningfully shaped outcomes A collaborative, low-ego mindset paired with strong conviction, open to feedback and iteration, while able to take a stand and own decisions when alignment is needed A d esigner with strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale, tradeoffs, and a point of view to cross-functional partners and senior leadership This role is not for Pixel executors. We’re looking for designers who own problems, challenge assumptions, and shape solutions through deliberate design decisions, whether at the system level or through high-impact incremental details Strategy-only designers or wireframers . This role requires strong craft and the ability to deliver fully resolved, build-ready designs Designers looking for simple or isolated problems. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position. Requirements
