About The Position

As a Senior Designer for Golf Apparel at PUMA North America, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the seasonal collections that resonate with our brand's identity and the needs of our customers. Your mission will involve designing strong and well-considered styles for each season, ensuring that all tasks within the Go-To-Market (GTM) calendar are completed on time. You will maintain accurate setup and upkeep of all articles in the Product Approval Center (PAC) and Creative Share systems, which are essential for the smooth operation of our design processes. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and preparing key meeting tools for various design reviews and meetings, including the Global Design Camp, Creative Pitchback, and Line Freeze. You will curate seasonal inspiration and mood boards that reflect the latest trends and innovations in the golf apparel market. Collaborating closely with your team, you will engage in specific research and development efforts, developing new materials and trims as needed to enhance our product offerings. Your expertise will be crucial in creating in-depth trend reports that are applicable to the Golf business, ensuring that our designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also aligned with market demands. You will attend and lead fittings to guarantee the best fit and look of our products, working alongside the Design Director on overall seasonal direction and style development. Collaboration will extend to working with Technical Designers to ensure that tech packs are accurate and clear, as well as with Graphic Designers on all graphic and digital file needs. Additionally, you will liaise with Product Line Managers (PLMs) on any required business needs and work with the Development Team to ensure that all styles are developed accurately. Your role will also involve working with Cross Category Footwear and Accessories designers to ensure brand cohesion across all product lines. Travel will be a component of this position, as you will need to travel domestically and internationally for seasonal process management, collection inspiration, trend and market research, and benchmarking. Collecting and utilizing market intelligence will be key to keeping the team informed on design trends, technologies, and developments that can influence our product lines.
