Looking for an opportunity where your CAD skills and mechanical design expertise truly make an impact? As a Senior Designer Drafter at Servotronics, you'll be the technical backbone of our drafting and documentation team—translating engineering vision into manufacturable reality.

Requirements

• Associate degree or certificate in drafting/design or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in aerospace or complex mechanical design environments.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and knowledge of ASME/ANSI drafting standards.
• Ability to perform tolerance analysis and identify design improvement opportunities.
• Strong attention to detail and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced mechanical or electro-mechanical drafting and design support by reviewing engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Use SolidWorks to create tolerance stack-ups, detailed designs, and schematics.
• Define and communicate GD&T requirements in compliance with ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Machine Shop and Engineering to ensure CNC-ready models and manufacturable designs.
• Prepare detailed part and assembly drawings and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Participate in design reviews and support change documentation.
• Assist in identifying design issues prior to production release.
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design packages.
