About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Brand Strategy, the Senior Designer & Brand Manager will play a leading strategic role in defining, governing, and evolving the Fluence brand globally. This role blends hands‑on design expertise with thought leadership, setting the standard for creative excellence and ensuring the brand strategy accelerates key business objectives This is a highly visible, individual contributor role creating content for customer, investor, and employee audiences, and partnering closely with Marketing, Communications, Sales, Product, HR, and Executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate is both a strong designer and a thoughtful brand steward—someone who sees the big picture, values getting the details right, and proactively elevates how the brand comes to life.

Requirements

  • A recognized subject matter expert in brand strategy and system-level design, with a proven track record of elevating a global brand.
  • Ability to balance big‑picture brand strategy with meticulous execution, making thoughtful design decisions that support business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and gain alignment with executive-level stakeholders on high-stakes creative and strategic decisions
  • Strong cross‑functional collaborator who acts as a strategic partner who drives brand innovation across the business
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple high‑visibility projects while maintaining a high bar for quality.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing strategic brand thinking, system‑level design, and polished execution across multiple channels.
  • 8-12+ years of experience in design and brand strategy, with significant experience leading brand identity systems within a complex, global public company
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Comfortable working within the Microsoft ecosystem, including PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Stewardship Govern the Fluence brand architecture and visual identity system, driving its strategic evolution across all global channels
  • Own and advance the global brand guidelines, design systems, and templates, acting as the primary subject matter expert and decision-maker on brand application.
  • Own and manage branded asset libraries, contributing to the development of clear, scalable processes for organizing and accessing brand assets.
  • Design & Creative Execution Conceptualize and execute high‑impact creative projects that elevate brand perception, drive engagement, and support business objectives.
  • Design a wide range of assets including social content, corporate publications, event and experiential graphics, infographics, data visualizations, and video.
  • Oversee and art-direct creative outputs, including the work of external freelancers, to ensure strategic alignment and quality
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to understand needs and recommend design solutions that align with brand standards
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing speed, quality, and strategic impact in a fast‑paced environment.
