Detects any gaps in information uncovered and removes unreliable information. Clarifies and resolves inconsistencies in the data of research projects. Analyzes and interprets relevant data for results and important insights. Translates research insights and metrics, including research from other sources, into actionable recommendations that inform design and business strategies. Assess gaps between business expectations and user experience strategies. Leverages a deep understanding of trends in user consumption habits to develop or improve interaction design and user experience strategies. Anticipates and mitigates risks during information synthesis and independently arrives at possible solutions for interactive designs. Analyzes and interprets existing data (for example web analytics, user surveys, customer support calls). Understand the basics of testing against a design specification. Identifies major activities and documents associated with user acceptance testing. Cites multiple examples and types of acceptance tests for user acceptance testing. Compiles a list of procedures and guidelines for test developers and end users. Explains the features and objectives of alpha and beta tests. Understand the interests & profile of key stakeholders to manage functional relationships. Analyzes stakeholder technical needs and partner with them to share relevant information. Engage with business partners (internal/external) on a periodic basis and establish credibility for exchanging functional information. Communicates articulately and concisely in stakeholder meetings involving multiple teams. Conveys complex information and address ambiguity for robust technology development. Builds productive, collaborative relationships with stakeholders. Influence team and stakeholders to take meaningful action with sound recommendations. Independently prepares clear, concise, logically structured and meaningful reports/material based on facts. Seeks and provides constructive feedback, anticipate needs/questions, respond appropriately. Build and maintain customer relations to understand customer requirements/problems. Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Product Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Psychology, or related area and 1 year of experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Product Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Psychology, or related area and 3 years of experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research, or related area. Skills required: Experience conducting generative and evaluative research to uncover user needs and pain points (including interviews, usability testing, concept testing, contextual inquiry, survey design, and competitive and comparative analysis). Experience completing hypothesis testing to validate assumptions and determine confidence levels of findings. Experience with quantitative data analysis and manipulation using SPSS and Excel. Experience generating themes and clustering meaningful findings using affinity mapping. Experience synthesizing learnings into actionable insights, defining implications for product design with clear impact on business metrics, and offering recommendations for advancing research evolution. Experience collaborating with design teams using Figma, Miro, and Mural to create user flows and mock-ups that align with product and business requirements. Experience guiding facilitation of ideation workshops and stakeholder discussions. Experience managing legal risks, factual errors, and breaches of codes of conduct involving the use of research materials. Experience creating surveys by formulating questions and defining branching logic and response types (SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, and Feedback Ally). Experience verifying the reliability and accuracy of information through peer-review and detailed checks. Experience disseminating learnings to cross-functional partners and stakeholder groups (PPT, Quantum Metrics, and data visualizations). Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range: $156,915/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
