We’re seeking a Senior Engineer / Design Manager to join our growing Water team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you’ll guide multidisciplinary design teams to deliver innovative, constructible, and sustainable solutions across a diverse portfolio of water infrastructure projects. You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage design schedules and deliverables, and ensure technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate inputs from civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering disciplines to deliver cohesive and constructible designs.
• Develop and manage design schedules, budgets, and deliverables in alignment with overall project timelines and client expectations.
• Facilitate communication between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design issues and align expectations.
• Review design documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Identify design-related risks and implement mitigation strategies early in the project lifecycle.
• Maintain organized records of design decisions, revisions, and approvals; prepare regular progress reports for leadership and clients.
• Mentor and guide design team members, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
