Additional Information: Travel: up to 10% This role is based out of Fort Worth, TX This role does not offer relocation This position requires working onsite five days a week

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Materials Science or equivalent from an accredited program
Five or more years of demonstrated experience designing and releasing new products, components, or technologies from concept through production, including translating functional requirements into detailed design documentation
Demonstrated experience in leading, planning, coordinating, and executing prototype builds, testing, and analysis; able to document results and drive design improvements
Extensive knowledge of computer-aided design and engineering tools used to produce, analyze, simulate, and test product design drafts (2D/3D models, drawings, and specifications)
Experience participating in make/buy analyses for product components and providing technical input to sourcing decisions
Ability to support supplier development and supplier performance through technical reviews, requirement clarification, and issue resolution
Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports as needed

Nice To Haves

Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, detailed design, and production‑ready drawings
Experienced in performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate structural integrity and optimize component performance
Strong understanding of fabrication standards and manufacturing techniques common to oil & gas equipment
Demonstrated effective communication skills

Responsibilities

Researching new materials and competitive products.
Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes
Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance.
Overseeing the efforts of drafting and testing specialists
Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents.
Participating in buy-build analysis for product components
Participating in and supporting proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports
