About The Position

As a Senior Workspace Deployment Engineer at Insight, you will work collaboratively with architects, change managers, and project managers to efficiently and successfully execute on the deployment of Google Workspace to an organization. You are able to understand and configure Google Workspace in the best manner for the Customer’s use cases and effectively train Customer admins on the Google Workspace admin capabilities and any configured integrations. You will work with project managers to identify risks to the quality of the project as well as any potential additional engagements. You’re also hands-on, able to comprehensively test/troubleshoot and build functioning prototypes that prove ideas and build confidence in the solutions you advocate. Along the way, you will get to: Lead Deployment Projects: Own and lead the end-to-end technical delivery of Google Workspace deployments for enterprise Customers Solution Architecture & Design: Collaborate with Customer IT teams and internal solution architects to design optimal deployment strategies, including user provisioning, data migration, security configurations, and integrations. Technical Execution: Perform hands-on configuration, migration, and integration tasks for Google Workspace, leveraging Google's native tools, APIs, scripting (e.g., GAM, Python, Google Apps Script), and third-party migration utilities. Identity & Access Management (IAM): Configure and integrate Google Workspace/Cloud with Customer’s Identity Providers for seamless Single Sign-On (SSO) and user lifecycle management. Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of Google Workspace Deployment experience, having successfully and confidently led enterprise and complex projects. Additionally, you have experience with complex integrations, governance, mentoring, and architectural input Workspace deployments
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical deployment strategies into actionable business insights for diverse stakeholders, including Product Management and Executive Leadership.
  • Holistic Problem Solving: Solve for the root cause rather than the symptom
  • Proven resilience in high-pressure environments; able to lead incident response efforts with a calm, methodical approach to troubleshooting and restoration of services
