About The Position

The Luna Business Planning team seeks a highly skilled Sr. Demand Planner to drive topline forecasting and strategic analyses. In this role, you will develop robust forecasts across Luna's gaming verticals, integrating cross-functional business plans, real-time data, and market research into forecasting models. These models will establish and track official business targets while revealing strategic recommendations that optimize customer experience. Amazon Luna is a cloud gaming service that makes it easy for anyone to play high-quality games on the devices they already own—including Fire TV and tablet devices, smartphones, tablets, web browsers, select smart televisions from LG and Samsung, and more--with no need to purchase new gaming consoles or equipment. Luna brings more than 50 games to Prime members at no additional cost, including GameNight, an evolving collection of more than 25 approachable, local multiplayer games designed to bring friends and family together in the living room. To play GameNight titles, simply scan a QR code on your TV and your smartphone becomes your controller. With simple and responsive touchscreen inputs and support for multiple local players, GameNight offers and easy and approachable way to play whether you’re an experienced gamer of a casual fan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
  • Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving, or experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)

Responsibilities

  • Own the driver-based operating plan model for Amazon Luna, forecasting subscription growth, engagement, and revenue by integrating historical performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop forecasting frameworks for game performance, estimating player adoption, engagement, and monetization for upcoming titles and content releases, and incorporating these forecasts into subscription and revenue planning.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Analytics teams to define forecast assumptions, evaluate strategic initiatives, and align on global performance targets.
  • Develop scenario analyses and business cases to evaluate growth opportunities such as pricing strategies, promotions, content releases, partnerships, and new product features.
  • Translate complex data into clear strategic insights, informing senior leadership decisions through written narratives, presentations, and executive reviews.
  • Monitor key business drivers and industry dynamics, identifying emerging risks and opportunities that may impact subscription growth and player engagement.
  • Design and maintain reporting tools and visualizations in partnership (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight) that enable stakeholders to understand performance trends and forecast implications.
