About The Position

As a Senior Delivery Stream Engineer you will verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse – from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery. You will also evaluate all suppliers as requested by the Delivery Stream Manager. This evaluation will include working with customers, and reporting for opportunities related to Westinghouse APx Supply Chain. You will report to Energy Systems AP1000 WBS 10 I&C Lead and will be located in our Cranberry, PA location. This is a hybrid position with 2 days in office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering.
  • Background in Control Systems and Process Instrumentation.
  • Experience is preferred in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries. However, it could also be in any of the following industries: Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

  • Support Supplier Identification and down selection.
  • Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations
  • Promote completion of NDA/PIA negotiations.
  • Lead Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation (i.e., draft SAP requisition for RFQ including all technical and quality requirements).
  • Lead Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings.
  • Create the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule.
  • Implement Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points.
  • Conduct scheduled meetings (e.g., bi-weekly, weekly, etc.) with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team Members.
  • ManageWestinghouse Project Support Team Execution.
  • Manage execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points.
