The position involves designing, monitoring, maintaining, and updating the organization's Charge Master(s) to optimize revenue generation and ensure compliance with governmental entities and agreements with third-party payers. The role requires collaboration with revenue-producing departments to maintain the consistency of the charge master, preference lists, and fee schedules, ensuring accurate descriptions, coding, additions, deletions, pricing, and other necessary changes. Additionally, the position involves assessing the accuracy and build of all charging workflows in EPIC, including dictionaries, preference lists, and other interface or third-party charging systems. The individual will analyze Epic work/error queue data and perform root cause analysis, executing work plans to correct identified deficiencies. The role may also include associated functions in related areas such as cost management, cost accounting, cost reporting, and decision support as assigned.
