About The Position

The Senior Deal Desk Analyst plays a critical role in supporting strategic, high‑value, and enterprise-level commercial opportunities. This position is responsible for driving the quote‑to‑cash process, developing accurate and competitive pricing proposals, and partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and cross‑functional teams to accelerate deal cycles and ensure commercial excellence. In addition, the role leads project management activities related to RFP responses, ensuring timely coordination, high-quality proposal content, and alignment with company standards, governance, and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial business partner, deal desk, pricing, or similar function.
  • Experience with CRM and CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zuora).
  • Strong project management capabilities, including coordination and stakeholder influence.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and analytic capabilities.
  • Strong written communication and persuasive proposal‑writing skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast‑pacedenvironment.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and flexible mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact to account teams throughout the Q2C (Quote‑to‑Cash) process.
  • Generate accurate, compliant, and high‑quality sales quotations aligned with internal policies and commercial guidelines.
  • Ensure contract compliance across new business, renewals, upsells, and cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Apply strong commercial judgment to assess deal risks, anticipate issues, and proactively drive solutions.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Information Security, and Operations to address customer inquiries and support complex or strategic deal structures.
  • Contribute to pricing and packaging discussions, providing insights that support competitive positioning and commercial strategy.
  • Lead and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and accuracy throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Deliver training and sales enablement on pricing, packaging, deal structures, policies, and tools.
  • Lead end‑to‑end management of multiple RFP submissions, balancing timelines, quality, and internal governance.
  • Analyze tender documents, identifying key requirements and coordinating internal stakeholders accordingly.
  • Manage cross‑functional contributors to ensure timely, compliant, and compelling RFP responses.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the RFP/proposal content library and standardized response materials (e.g., RFP.io).
  • Research and leverage previous proposals to create high‑quality responses that align with customer requirements.
  • Ensure all proposal materials are accurately archived within content management systems.
  • Handle portal-based documentation uploads and submissions when required.
  • Conduct post‑bid win/loss reviews to identify opportunities for process, product, and strategic improvements.
  • Manage and maintain Deal Desk tools and resources, including pricing handbooks, proposal libraries, and RFP systems.
  • Ensure all tools and documentation remain accurate, current, and aligned with internal policies.
  • Assist in system and tool enhancement initiatives, including testing, documentation, rollout, and user adoption activities.
  • Support cross‑functional projects focused on improving processes, systems, and commercial operations.
  • May be assigned additional projects based on business priorities.
  • Act as a key coordination point between Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Security teams.
  • Influence internal partners to ensure alignment on deal strategy, proposal messaging, pricing considerations, and governance compliance.
  • Collaborate on proposal strategies that enhance customer outcomes and improve the sales cycle.
