About The Position

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Sr. Database Marketing Analyst is responsible for the leveraging data to evaluate the impact of Player Development efforts on business performance, providing actionable insights, and automating reporting processes. The Sr. Database Marketing Analyst will be responsible for developing SQL queries, constructing performance reports, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely data is used for strategic decision-making. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Primary Tasks: Conduct comprehensive Pro/Post Forma Analysis for the overall tracked database, focusing on evaluating Player Development impact on the overall business as well as provide insights to optimize player engagement strategies and improve outcomes. Consolidate and analyze performance data to create regular reports on the overall database health, focusing on Player Development performance. Aid in the loading of event tracking data and sales goals into the player tracking software, ensuring data integrity and accurate tracking of performance metrics. Analyze player performance and provide informed recommendations for inclusion in the Player Development hosting program. Develop and execute complex SQL queries to retrieve data from multiple source systems as well as build tables and views of data to ensure comprehensive and accurate reporting. Build Power BI reports that combine and visualize the data from these systems, ensuring comprehensive and accurate reporting for stakeholders. Perform query tuning and enhancements to improve the speed and efficiency of SQL reports. Design and maintain automated reports using SSRS and RB3.Create and distribute monthly and ad hoc reports from the Accounting and Player Tracking Systems, tailoring reports to the needs of the business. Act as the primary point of contact and support the Player Development department, collaborating closely with the other teams to align data insights with broader business strategies. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, accounting, finance, business administration, Computer Science or related field and three (3) years of database marketing/analytics experience, OR seven [5] years of directly related experience in lieu of education.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including, higher level functions in EXCEL such as Pivot Tables, sumifs, Nested formulas, V/H lookups, Macros, Graphing.
  • Experience with computer report writing and/or database inquiry software such as ACCESS, SQL or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and make enhanced financial recommendations based on statistical reports.

Responsibilities
