Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with containerized environments and modern deployment practices is preferred
  • Exposure to cloud migration efforts, distributed systems, or AI-assisted development is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own database performance optimization efforts, including analysis, tuning, and migration of SQL and NoSQL queries across Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB
  • Identify and resolve database and data-access performance bottlenecks to support reliable, high-performance, cloud-enabled applications
  • Design and guide indexing strategies, query plans, and data models to ensure scalability, efficiency, and long-term maintainability
  • Support database modernization initiatives, including cloud migrations and optimization of legacy database implementations
  • Provide database-focused application support by contributing to backend services and APIs where optimized data access is critical
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and IT stakeholders to establish best practices for database usage, data access patterns, and performance standards
  • Support and optimize data-intensive workloads deployed in Azure, including containerized environments and cloud-native architectures
  • Design, optimize, and support ETL and data migration processes to ensure data accuracy, performance, and operational efficiency
  • Validate data integrity, consistency, and performance during and after migrations or major system changes
  • Provide technical guidance and influence standards related to database performance, cloud data services, and data access architecture within the IT organization
