About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Senior Database Architect to join our team supporting a large-scale national security credentialing system in a complex, dynamic environment. The candidate will design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security. Must be able to work on site in Colorado Springs, CO at least 3 days per week Position Description: Serve as the Application DBA responsible for: Developing SQL reporting queries. Troubleshooting database issues. Database performance tuning. SQL statement tuning. Reviewing and implementing database design changes. Coding (procedures, functions, packages, triggers, etc.). Requirements

8 years experience with a Bachelors, 6 years with a Masters, 3 years with a PhD, 12 years with a HS Diploma
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
3+ years or more experience in writing and tuning SQL queries.
3+ years or more experience designing and implementing database structures.
3+ years or more of SQL coding / scripting experience.
Able to work flexible schedule/weekends if needed.
Experience with SQL (Structured Query Language).
