As a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer at Cohesity, you will partner with multi-functional teams on ad-hoc analyses and provide strategic support to the executive team. Your work will have a direct impact on our success and help shape our future. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and resourceful individual who seeks to “tell the story” of the data with little direction or supervisionThe purpose of this role is to develop and implement technical solutions to ingest data from disparate source systems into data lake/Cloud based data warehouse solutions and further transform the data to be consumed by downstream applications primarily for Corporate Analytical reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field e.g Computer Science
- At least 5-6 yrs in Data-warehouse/analytics/databases/Pipelines.
- At least 5 yrs in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse Solution
- Experience in SQL.
- Experience in ETL/ELT tools. (Matillion ETL tool preferred).
- Experience working on Data Modeling and preferably Data Vault 2.0 method.
- Experience in linux.
- Experience in working with API’s.
- Experience in github or gitlab for code maintenance.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge to build efficient technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain Data pipelines(Real time and Batch).
- Develop and maintain code for Data ingestion/Data transformations.
- Validate and perform Testing.
- Perform migration/production release.
- Provide documentation for the deliverables.
- Able to work in an agile based environment.
- Able to finetune and make modifications to the code to improve performance.
- Establish core data management principles and best practices
- Lead initiatives and projects across multiple functional areas.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
- Enhance the Data Platform and introduce automation wherever possible by adhering to standards.
