About The Position

Epsilon Data Management LLC is seeking a Senior Data Solutions Engineer to develop and implement techniques or analytics applications that transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. The role involves integrating data from various sources, managing and optimizing databases, designing and maintaining data models, implementing data quality checks, creating and maintaining ETL processes, and monitoring data pipelines. The engineer will work closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and other stakeholders to support their analytics and reporting efforts, while maintaining comprehensive documentation of data processes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience must include one year in PostgreSQL, Microsoft Excel, Spark, Hadoop, Bitbucket, Jira, Python Programming Language, Sublime Text Editor, and Data Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information.
• Integrate data from various sources including databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Manage and optimize databases including schema design and performance tuning.
• Design and maintain data models to ensure they match business requirements.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes.
• Create and maintain ETL processes using tools like Apache Spark and Python.
• Write scripts and develop automated solutions for routine data tasks.
• Continuously monitor data pipeline and infrastructure for performance and reliability.
• Work closely with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to understand their data needs.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines and processes.
