About The Position

ECS is seeking an organized, efficient, detail-oriented Senior Data Scientist to join our team. This role will entail working closely with the client to understand needs and pain-points, and designing and implementing technical AI solutions across a range of programming languages, cloud platforms, and supporting infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science or technical discipline
• At least 7 Years of relevant experience
• Data Science Expertise vs. Data Engineer
• Practical experience with the lifecycle of a Vector Store for Semantic Search - Understanding nuances and pitfalls of chunking, overlapping, and embedding
• Experience with Entity Resolution
• Metadata normalization and AI enrichment experience
• Python for Data Science experience
• Graph Analytics experience
• Expert Command of Sql
• Command of git with prior experience committing to projects with multiple contributors.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI expertise to advise and create solutions that are innovative, secure, accurate, and maintainable.
• Contribute to an agile team as the lead data scientist, promoting metadata normalization & visual graph navigation of document relations.
• Decipher customer needs and quickly adapt the AI prompt engineering.
• Build prototypes quickly for rapid feedback from customers.
• Command of Vector stores for Semantic Search and other use cases.
