About The Position

The Senior Data Scientist role at AB InBev GCC involves contributing to the global non-commercial analytics capability of Supply Chain Analytics. The candidate will be required to guide the Data Science team and assess the efforts needed to scale and standardize the use of Data Science across multiple ABI markets. This position is crucial for understanding business problems, translating them into analytical problems, and participating in the solution design process.

Requirements

• B.Tech/BE/Masters in Statistics or Economics/econometrics, MBA.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred industry exposure in CPG or Consulting with 5+ years.
• Experience in Supply Chain Analytics, preferably in a CPG organization.
• Demonstrated capability of successfully deploying analytics solutions and products.
• Experience interacting with senior internal or external stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience in data manipulation using Excel, Python, SQL.
• Expert level proficiency in Python, including writing end-to-end ML or data pipelines.
• Proficient in application of ML concepts and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Azure Tech Stack, Databricks, ML Flow in any cloud platform.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Passion for solving problems using data.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Understand the business problem and translate it to an analytical problem; participate in the solution design process.
• Work with the Analytics Manager to create project plans and design analytics roadmaps.
• Independently lead project delivery.
• End-to-end development of AI/ML models.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Quantify the impact and continuously implement improvements.
• Document every aspect of the project in standard ways.
