About The Position

Infosys is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Data Scientist to lead transformative digital initiatives for our global clients. In this strategic role, you will drive end-to-end consulting engagements from problem definition and business process analysis to solution architecture, development, and deployment within a global delivery framework. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of San Francisco, CA or be willing to relocate to any of these locations. Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Proven years of experience in Data, Analytics and AI preferably in the Retail CPG & logistics domain Expereince in Generative AI and Strategy implementation Able to lead the team at customer location and experience in managing large teams in a global delivery model Able to understand the architecture on any Cloud Data Platform / Hyperscaler and identify potential opportunities for improvement. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to drive business growth by supporting pursuit initiatives, crafting compelling proposals, and presenting value-driven solutions, build and nurture long-term client relationships through strategic insights and delivery excellence. Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams, thrive in a culture that values continuous learning, innovation, and diversity. Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment, collaborate with global teams to deliver excellence and foster a high-performance environment. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
