This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA We’re looking for a Sr. Data Scientist with a passion for working with merchandising, pricing/promotion finance/accounting, and user behavioral data to help define strategy, guide operations, and KPIs and impact how we build experiences and products.

Requirements

  • Job entails working with and requires bachelor’s degree in business analytics or related analytical fields with Candidate must have 1-year professional experience in:

Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze sales and operation data to help guide business decisions using data and statistical analysis
  • Working with growing datasets and conducting ad hoc analysis to quickly inform stakeholders on critical business decisions.
  • Create models for proposed sales initiatives and track ongoing improvements in sales and profitability
  • Develop data visualization to monitor and quantify the impact of changes and unique business challenges.
  • Conducting root cause analysis on monitored KPI’s to determine the cause of planned metric disparities.
  • Work closely with our sales team and merchandising team to create and track key metrics for our business, and share informative actionable insights
  • Partner with Data Engineering to craft our data infrastructure investments in support of BI needs and insure the proper tracking and quality of the data
  • Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating metrics and results to stakeholders
  • Effective time management, organization skills and the ability to effectively communicate is important in role
