About The Position

The Senior Data Scientist will develop innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from unstructured, diverse datasets typically measured in gigabytes or larger. The role requires knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, and data engineering to implement analytical solutions aimed at improving healthcare delivery. The candidate will identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement. Additionally, the role involves building, enhancing, and automating data pipelines using emerging cloud technologies. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a technology-related occupation.
• Knowledge of healthcare data including claims, membership, provider, and clinical data.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python and Snow SQL.
• Experience with cloud-based data analytics including Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Ability to visualize data and communicate results effectively.
• Experience with version control tools including Git and Github.
• Design data warehouse infrastructure solutions to support enterprise-wide data science needs.
• Experience with Teradata, MicroStrategy, PowerBI, Informatica, and Databricks.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
