In this role, you will define development strategy and vision, design and develop innovative data driven solutions using cutting-edge technologies and provide technical expertise and direction to project teams. You will be responsible for managing projects and project tasks, defining scope and technical approaches, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software systems. This role bridges technical execution with strategic planning and plays a key part in advancing enterprise software capabilities through leadership, innovation, and mentorship. In addition, this position offers a unique opportunity to establish and grow a new data practice within the Atlanta office. You will shape the foundation of this capability from the ground up, collaborating across departments to understand their analytics needs and deliver tailored solutions. This aspect of the role provides the chance to build internal partnerships, define best practices, and create a long-term data strategy that elevates the office’s technical and analytical maturity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems and 7 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems and 6 years of relevant experience, or In lieu of education, 11 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Experience developing and utilizing machine learning and AI systems such as NLP, computer vision, CNNs, and LLMs.
  • Experience with analytics and AI programming tools such as Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, TensorFlow and Jupyter.
  • Experience working with data on cloud infrastructure tools such as AWS, Azure, and SageMaker.
  • Experience with data platforms and visualization tools such as Big Query, DynamoDB, Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Experience building and growing a data practice aimed to help clients and partners better manage their data and maximize the value they obtain from it.
  • Demonstrated success in leading data science teams and enterprise programs.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in, or significant experience with, Data Sciences, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or other related technologies.
  • Certifications in, or significant experience with, project management (PMP, Agile) or management practices.
  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems, or a PhD in a science with a focus on applied data analysis and AI.
