About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Strategy Data Science team. This role is designed for a strategic and business-oriented data scientist who thrives at the intersection of data, business strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. You will partner with leaders across product marketing, channel marketing, finance, data engineering, and other data science teams to translate evolving business strategies into impactful, data-driven projects. Your work will bridge the gap between raw data and high-level business application, ensuring that insights not only answer immediate questions but also guide long-term strategic direction. You'll apply advanced analytical methods, modeling, and scenario planning to inform critical decisions and shape the future of Intuit's growth. You'll thrive here if you're equally comfortable diving deep into data and influencing high-level strategy, and if you love using experimentation and modeling to drive meaningful impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science); advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, strategy, or analytics roles, ideally including time in consulting or a strategy-focused capacity.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect business strategy to data-driven execution and measurable impact.
  • Experience building models and applying experimentation concepts to strategic decisions.
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing and causal inference principles - able to guide teams on interpretation, limitations, and strategic implications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence executives and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and connect data to strategic clarity.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate high-level strategic priorities into actionable data science initiatives.
  • Build and apply models that forecast business outcomes, evaluate scenarios, and inform strategic choices.
  • Provide guidance on experimentation frameworks - advising on design considerations, interpreting results, and helping teams think critically about pricing, customer behavior, and growth experiments.
  • Develop predictive models that forecast business performance and uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to research, marketing, finance, product, and data engineering teams, building alignment and driving data-informed decision-making.
  • Translate complex analysis into compelling stories and insights that resonate with senior executives and non-technical stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Cash bonus eligibility
  • Equity rewards
  • Comprehensive benefits package
