The Sr. Data Scientist is responsible for leading data science initiatives that enhance business profitability, efficiency, and customer experience. This role involves developing advanced analytics infrastructure and leveraging data science for competitive advantage. The Sr. Data Scientist will lead projects, mentor team members, and collaborate with various stakeholders to present insights and recommendations that drive business decisions.

  • Design and develop algorithms and models to analyze large datasets for business insights.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on project progress and impacts of recommendations.
  • Work with project teams to determine goals and prioritize tasks.
  • Mentor and coach junior data scientists to enhance their technical skills.
  • Collaborate with business partners to leverage data science for competitive advantage.
  • Seek knowledge on developments in data science and improve analytics processes.
  • PhD in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Math, Statistics, etc.) preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics.
  • Proficient in a modern scripting language (preferably Python).
  • Experience with data visualization software (preferably Tableau).
  • Proficient in running queries against data (preferably with Google BigQuery or SQL).
  • Mastery of statistical techniques for business problem-solving.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in prescriptive modeling techniques such as optimization, computer vision, recommendation systems, or NLP.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in predictive modeling, data mining, and data analysis.
  • Competitive salary range of $90,000.00 - $190,000.00
