Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (computer science, engineering, mathematics, etc)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated practical experience with SQL and Python
  • Demonstrated practical experience building and deploying statistical models
  • Strong communication skills
  • Curiosity and creativity
  • U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts

  • Experience with time series data
  • Experience with SAP and Solumina
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with Databricks
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing and shop-floor environments
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma
  • Familiarity with Operations Research
  • Familiarity with change management principles

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders across functional areas to understand key processes, data sources, and requirements.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis of business and manufacturing process data, focusing on our most challenging and complex datasets.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and validate statistical models.
  • Work closely with the Digital Technology team to ensure data infrastructure meets organizational needs.
  • Create documentation and standard work for deployed models.
