Senior Data Scientist - Insights and Analytics
About The Position
Hardware Engineering is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to answer critical business questions through rigorous analysis of data engineering outputs, delivering intelligence that drives strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate brings expertise in data analytics and a passion for data storytelling. You'll have the autonomy to shape analytics strategy across workforce planning and operations, working with leadership to inform high-stakes organizational decisions. This role offers the opportunity to influence organizational direction while building a portfolio of high-impact analytical projects.You'll lead business analytics projects through all phases - defining investigations, exploring data, conducting analysis, and presenting results to business customers. Projects will span workforce planning, operational analytics, and strategic initiatives across Hardware Engineering. This role requires collaboration within a multi-disciplined, geographically distributed data science team, working closely with data engineering to build on our existing infrastructure and shape future analytics capabilities.
Requirements
- MS/MA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent degree
- Experience collaborating with data engineering teams on pipeline design and data quality improvements
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake)
