The Senior Data Scientist will lead the development of predictive models and machine learning solutions for Travelport products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex business challenges.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in data science roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, and SQL.
• Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and quantitative modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to process and analyze large-scale data.
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, boosting, clustering, ensembles).
• Experience in A/B testing, causal inference, and multivariate analysis.
• Skilled in data visualization and presenting complex findings to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and deliver results in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models and statistical analyses for business applications.
• Partner with data engineers to deploy scalable algorithms in production environments.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests for new and existing algorithms.
• Conduct data mining and exploratory analysis on large datasets.
• Prepare and present analytical findings to stakeholders using effective data visualizations.
• Apply agile methodologies in model development and deployment.
