As a Senior Data Scientist at AIG you will be serve a critical role in building and overseeing a team of highly productive data scientists tasked with the delivery of impactful enterprise level Generative AI Solutions. We are seeking someone with extensive hands-on experience, as we are an applied data science team operating in an agile and production orientated environment. You will be focused on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Machine Learning (ML).

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a data science role, preferably in NLP, working in an agile production orientated environment.
• Expert-level understanding and practical experience (5+ years) with open-source Large Language Models (Llama2/3, Mixtral etc.), e.g., prompt engineering, inference, and fine-tuning.
• 3+ years of experience with building Generative AI Solutions (Prompt engineering, designing and building RAG frameworks, validation pipelines, observability and monitoring solutions)
• PHD or master’s in data sciences or master’s in computer science.
• Ability to work in a fast pasted high stakes environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within and across teams.
• Ability to act in a managerial as well as hands on experience.
• Highly technical and hands on leader.

Nice To Haves

• Preference will be given to candidates who have work experience on the Palantir platform or who can demonstrate certification.

Responsibilities

• Development and successful delivery of data science and generative AI solutions in accordance with the business requirements.
• Monitor solutions in production.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams that comprise product managers, engineers and business leaders.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure LLMs efficacy, ground truth dataset quality, and guide product development roadmap
