We as a department enable ASML to be in control of product master data (model) as the foundation for efficient business execution, at any point in time. As a Data Quality Specialist, you are responsible for providing product data solutions that fit best with the requirements and ambitions from our business stakeholders, securing data quality trough adherence to the data framework, data governance and other data-fundaments. You will contribute to product data improvements which are performed by multidisciplinary (project) teams that consist of multiple business stakeholders (within & outside Sourcing & Supply Chain) and IT.

Requirements

  • BS'c degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
  • 5+ years relevant and proven experience
  • Experience with (product) data quality management and its impact on business processes
  • Experience with data architecture(s) and understanding of data modeling, including knowledge on product data model
  • Experience with performance management, metrics, KPI’s and reporting.
  • Experience with SAP (or ERP) applications (such as MM, MDG, EWM etc).
  • Understanding how data governance is embedded within global enterprises
  • Pro-active attitude, drive for improvement
  • Ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations
  • Excellent problem solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver, and maintain product master data solutions by resolving structural data issues across the business, applying strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to ensure high data quality, consistency, and reliability.
  • Perform root cause analysis on product data defects and process gaps, and define data improvement initiatives that prevent recurrence and support scalable solutions.
  • Conduct impact assessments to evaluate business, process, and system implications of master data changes.
  • Translate business and data governance requirements into clear user stories and technical backlog items.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications for master data solutions, including data cleansing, transformation, and migration strategies where required.
  • Create, prepare, and maintain product data quality reporting and dashboards to support monitoring, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and IT teams to align on required process changes and data governance standards.
  • Prepare, execute, and support end‑to-end testing (e.g., unit, integration, UAT) to validate data solutions and ensure readiness for deployment.
  • Contribute to the implementation and adoption of master data solutions by supporting rollout activities, including training materials, knowledge transfer, and user guidance.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, procedures, and documentation related to master data processes, standards, and data quality solutions.
  • Provide 2nd‑line support for master data operational issues and incidents, supporting the data management community with root cause analysis and issue resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement of MDM ways of working by applying performance management practices, problem‑solving methodologies, and data quality best practices.
  • Actively contribute to the MDM department roadmap, supporting strategic initiatives related to data governance, data quality, system migrations, and digital transformation.
